Home-schooling has been around since the 1920s, but in the last 30 years or so, it has become much more popular and common, particularly in the United States. Work on relationships with adults
An important aspect of homeschooling for boys is making sure they have strong relationships with adults in their lives. This means giving them opportunities to spend time with dads, grandpas, uncles, or any other grown-up male role models in their life. It can also be helpful for moms to sit down with the boy on a regular basis (weekly or monthly) to talk about what he’s up to, what’s going well, and what challenges he might be facing.
Appreciate differences in kids
Homeschooling will teach your children how to appreciate differences in others. It teaches that people are different for a reason, not by accident. It teaches them to see the best in others instead of seeing what is wrong with them. It teaches kindness, empathy, and love. It also allows your child to develop skills they may not have had the opportunity to develop at school, like taking care of pets or plants, cooking meals from scratch, or building things from scratch.
