If you’re a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise, you’ll be excited to know that footage for the latest installment has finally been released. Featuring all of the actors you love from the franchise, the trailer offers an exclusive first look at the new action-packed film. Hopefully, it’s enough to make you want to see the movie as soon as possible.
Director Justin Lin steps down
The announcement that director Justin Lin has decided to step down as the director of Universal’s upcoming Fast X reboot came as a bit of a surprise to fans. He was only a few days into shooting the film. However, it is not the first time he has stepped away from the franchise.
Despite his departure, Lin will continue as producer of the film. Jet Li will also remain on as a producer.
While Lin’s decision to step down is not the most surprising, it is the departure of a major franchise player that has fans up in arms. Dwayne Johnson, who had been expected to join the cast of the sequel, is still no show.
Lin’s absence has resulted in a number of changes, including the naming of the film’s main villain. As well, a key location was unable to be used for production due to a war in Ukraine.
Alan Ritchson as a villian
The upcoming American action film Fast X is set to hit cinemas on May 19, 2023. It will be the penultimate entry of the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
In addition to Jason Momoa, who will play the main villain, Fast X will feature a variety of cast members. Alan Ritchson, who is best known for his role in Jack Reacher, is among those tapped for the project.
In addition to Momoa, Ritchson will also appear in the film as a secondary antagonist. However, for now, it’s unknown who he will be playing in Fast X.
The project has just begun production. According to reports, the movie’s budget is estimated to be about $340 million. This is a much higher amount than its predecessor, “F9,” which cost only $140 million.

Scott Eastwood as Little Nobody
Scott Eastwood’s Little Nobody is back in Fast X. The actor has been added to the upcoming action flick as part of a star-studded cast. Other cast members include Charlize Theron, Jason Momoa, and Tyre Gibson.
This installment of the Fast & Furious franchise will follow a group of drivers as they go on a mission. They have been traveling in outer space, but they have not yet reached their destination.
According to the plot, Little Nobody is a government agent who works for Mr. Nobody, and he is also the right-hand man of Kurt Russell’s character.
Little Nobody first appeared in the Fate of the Furious. In that film, he helped Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) locate Cipher.
But, he has also been seen in flashbacks. He is a law enforcement officer, but his approach has become very different. His role has become more about being a government liaison than a blatant antagonist.
Brian O’Connor will be mentioned in the film
Brian O’Connor has been a major part of the Fast & Furious franchise. The first film, The Fast and the Furious, introduced the character to the public. His appearance in Furious 7, however, proved that he’s been absent from the franchise for quite some time.
In the Fast & Furious 7 trailer, Brian and Mia (played by Jordana Brewster and Brie Larson, respectively) are shown as being retired from the Fast & Furious crew. While there have been rumors about a possible return in the future, nothing has been confirmed yet.
Brian is a secret adrenalin junkie. Aside from his police job, he drives a highly modified red Dodge Stealth. He drives and races in different cities.
Brian has a knack for car repairs. He helped a certain car in the first film. One of the more notable moments in the movie comes when he helps Dominic escape a car accident.
If you’re one of the many fans of the Fast & Furious franchise, you may have been wondering when the Fast X trailer will arrive. Fortunately, the answer is not too far off.
The first Fast X trailer is set to premiere during the Super Bowl. In fact, the trailer will be around three minutes long. But it won’t be the last. It’s expected that the film will hit theaters in 2023.
Aside from the trailer, fans will also see a TV spot during the game. This is not unusual for the Fast & Furious films. They’ve had their fair share of big Super Bowl spots over the years. For example, the trailer for the previous film in the series, F9: A Fast Saga, was released prior to the big game.
