Lahul and Spiti:- Lahul and Spiti are two remote and barren Himalayan valleys in Himachal Pradesh. They have unparalleled beauty of high mountains, snow-capped mountain peaks, rugged rocks, passes, huge glaciers, lakes and mountain rivers. Both valleys are famous for their wonderful Buddhist art and culture. The monasteries of Lahaul-Spiti have a rich collection of ancient frescoes, thanksgivings, wood carvings and golden images of Padmasambhava. Some of the famous monasteries in these valleys are Tapu Monastery, Dhankara Monastery, Chiganga Gompa Monastery, Ki Monastery and Khardung Monastery.

Darjeeling:– Darjeeling is a picturesque hill station situated in North West Bengal at an altitude of 7000 feet above sea level. Due to its mild climate, this hill station is thronged by tourists throughout the year. Darjeeling is famous for two of the most amazing things in the world – Darjeeling Tea and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. It is also famous for some attractive Buddhist monasteries like the Guru Shakya Math located 8 km from Darjeeling at a place called Ghoom.
