Steptember—that wonderful time of year—is back! And adidas Originals is the official sponsor of Steptember this year! That’s right, to celebrate the debut of the NMD S1, our friends at adidas Originals have here to help make this the finest STEPTEMBER ever. We have improved the competition from previous year and leveled the prizes. All are welcome, whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or are only getting ready for your first Steptember.
How its work properly
The goal of Steptember is to see who can earn the most Aglet each week and over the entire month. It is not just a stepping competition. We do it this way to promote more deliberate and strategic Aglet gameplay, such as visiting Treasure Stashes, employing Sneaker Shine and Soda, and timing the repair of sneakers. For your earned Aglet to count toward the competition, you must wear one of the three unique, Steptember-qualifying NMD S1 sneakers; they will be continuously refilled so that they are always available in the store.
The Competition will start at 10am AEST on September 2nd, 2022 (9am JST, 1am BST, 3am EEST, and 5pm PST), and it will end at 10am AEST on September 3rd, 2022.
This contest involves more than simply steps. The players that earn the most Aglet while sporting one of the three NMD S1 colorways—Core Black, White/ Lilac, or Black/Green—are the victors. Each will have a “Steptember” hangtag clearly identifying it as such and be regularly refilled at the Aglet Shop. One of these official shoes can be purchased for Gold Aglet, while the other two are sneakers for Regular Aglet. Although the GA sneaker earns somewhat more than the RA, players will still be very successful no matter which sneaker type they wear, as we’ve seen in recent years.
The competition will only take into account Aglet achieved when sporting one of the three Steptember grinders.
Only profits made while donning one of the three NMD S1s mentioned above will be eligible for the competition, even though we will be commemorating adidas Originals NMD sneakers throughout the month by releasing classic and beloved designs and colours.
Please take note that this year we’ve eliminated the weather-specific footwear and standardized earning incentives across all weather conditions to make the worldwide competition more equitable.
Only the first three Aglet Stashes you locate each day will count against your daily total of aglets found in Treasure Stashes (towards your Steptember earnings).
To enhance Aglet gained, including the unique Steptember Boosts that are exclusively accessible during this competition, players can drink Sneaker Soda (Boost). While Boosts increase and optimize your earnings, kindly take note.
Weekly, Overall and Country Competitions
No matter when you decide to participate in the event, you will have an opportunity to compete and win because there will be separate prizes for the Weekly and the Overall Competitions.
There will be in-game prizes, random draws for physical prizes like NMD S1s, Golden Tickets for future NMD S1s within the adidas Confirmed app, and more at all levels of play. The prizes and benefits are not just reserved for the top Top Performers.
This year, there will also be an overall national competition with awards for the best performers from each nation.
It should be noted that for players’ earnings to be considered and qualify for the Country-specific competitions, a country must have at least 50 competitors. A player’s ability to take part in all other Weekly and Overall events will not be impacted by this minimum.
We’re adding a new twist to the Country Competition: a cooperative competition between regions in which the Top 25 players contribute 50% of the score and the remaining players contribute 50%.
Leaderboard and Cheating
We understand that you and we both take this competition seriously.
Any unusual patterns of activity will be aggressively and actively looked into by Aglet, who will then ban those players from both the Steptember Leaderboard and the game at large.
As we evaluate their gameplay, you could occasionally notice player names on the Leaderboard appearing and disappearing.
We conduct additional investigations before awarding rewards, therefore there may be a delay in announcing and rewarding weekly and total awards.
Please get in touch with us via in-game chat or at support @ aglet.app if you have been removed from the Leaderboard due to questionable activity and you think this was an error. Be aware that any judgments we make about players will be reviewed, even though suspended accounts have been suspended.
