How to Check UPPSC PCS result 2022?

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts exams for its Provincial Service Exam, also known as UPPSC PCS, every year. The UPPSC 2022 prelims exam was held on 12th June 2022 this year. The result for UPPSC prelims for 2022 was declared on 27th July 2022. The examination is conducted to fill the notified 384 vacancies for the Combined State/Upper subordinate services in the UP Government.

The candidates who appeared for the UP PCS exam can check their results online from the official Uttar Pradesh government website https://uppsc.up.nic.in/ 

Method 1 to check UPPSC prelims result

Follow the steps below to check the results for the UPPSC prelims result:

Step 1: Go to the official website of UP Public service commission- https://uppsc.up.nic.in/

Step 2: On the website’s Homepage, find the information bulletin on the left, where the link for the result of the exam is displayed

Step 3: Click on the link for ‘LIST OF CANDIDATES QUALIFIED FOR THE COMBINED STATE/UPPER SUBORDINATE SERVICE (MAINS) EXAM 2022’.

Step 4: The link will open another tab with a notice with roll numbers of candidates who have passed the UP PCS exam prelims.

Step 5: Check if your roll number is on the list.

Step 6: You can also download and save the document for reference in the future.

Note: The examination results of UPPSC 2022 will be visible for the candidates up to 27 August 2022.

Method 2 to check UPPSC Prelims result

The candidates can also follow the steps below to check the UPPSC prelims result using login credentials:

Step 1: Go to the official results website of UP public service commission- https://uppsc.up.nic.in/results.aspx

Step 2: Candidates will be directed to the ‘View results’ part of the homepage, where they can use their login credentials to check the written/ prelims result of the UP PCS exam

Step 3: The candidates must fill out the registration number provided during the enrollment. The candidates will also be asked to complete personal details such as gender and date of birth along with an automated verification code.

Step 4: After correctly filling in all the information, click on the proceed option and check the result.

Step 5: The result will be displayed, and the candidates can download the result for future reference.

Note: The candidates must fill out correct credentials while using the login method and not share the credentials with anyone. 

The UPPSC prelims result mentions the roll numbers of those candidates who have scored above this year’s cutoff. According to the official notification, this year, 329310 registered candidates out of the 602974 applicants appeared for the exam. Out of more than three lakhs candidates who appeared for the exam, 5964 candidates have passed the exam. The selected candidates will now appear for the UPPSC PCS mains 2022 examination.

Along with this, the information about the marks obtained by the candidates or the cutoff marks for prelims and mains will be made available online only after the final result of the exam is declared. The candidates must note that no separate representation or requestions would be entertained under the Right to Information Act-2005.

The authorities have not yet declared the dates and process of the Mains exam of UPPSC PCS. The authorities concerned with the UP PCS exam will release another press release to inform the candidates who successfully passed the prelims about the schedule of the main examination. The candidates will also get notified about other information regarding the Mains exam, like the process of online application and fees. The candidates are advised to check the official website regularly to obtain information regarding the exam schedule.
