How to apply for Fair deal scheme application in Dublin

If you’re looking for a way to help make your rent more affordable, the Fair Deal scheme is worth considering. This scheme allows tenants who meet certain criteria to get their rental payments reduced.

The first step in applying for Fair Deal is filling out an application form online at Fair deal scheme application (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm). You’ll be asked some basic information about yourself and your circumstances, including income levels, medical conditions and any previous rent subsidies received from another source such as local authorities or voluntary organisations like Firstcare Housing Association. From there, if you qualify for the scheme based on these details alone, they will send you a confirmation email stating that they’ve accepted the application and will contact them again within 7 days with further details regarding their decision on whether or not they can offer any assistance under this particular subsidy programme code called ‘Fair Deal’.

If however after reading through all these instructions carefully above (which took me roughly 15 minutes – so don’t worry too much), there’s still something missing then feel free post any questions below!

Step 3 – Your Area Community Healthcare Organisation (ACCHO) will contact you and arrange Care Needs Assessment

If you have a condition that is covered by the Fair Deal Scheme, your Area Community Healthcare Organisation (ACCHO) will contact you and arrange Care Needs Assessment.

The purpose of this assessment is to identify the services and supports that are required by people with long-term conditions or disabilities in order to be able to live independently at home. It involves completing a questionnaire based on your answers to questions about your health needs and lifestyle preferences.

You will also have an opportunity during this assessment to talk about any concerns you may have regarding living at home alone; for example, if you feel depressed or anxious about going out alone because of having a severe disability or long-term illness. This might help inform what type of support could be offered under the scheme such as befriending services where volunteers visit people who don’t feel comfortable going out alone due their illnesses/disabilities

Conclusion

Once your application has been received, you will be contacted by your local area community healthcare organisation (ACCHO) to arrange a care needs assessment. This involves an assessment of your health and social care needs in order to determine whether or not you qualify for the Fair Deal Scheme. The assessment is carried out by a team of professionals including doctors, nurses, social workers, physiotherapists and occupational therapists who will assess your eligibility based on their own experience of working with people with disabilities and chronic conditions
